This was developed by me after adopting two German Shepherds (GSD) that were in poor health. The one GSD has pins in her front shoulder and came to us with some pretty high dosage of pain meds that she was on. She was 3-legged walking and not putting her paw down. After using CBD to replace the pain meds, I started doing research on how to help her get back to walking. Step Up+ was born.

This is what we give her and rotate with the powder in her food. What is the difference between this and the powder? This is pure green lipped mussel (GLM) oil and it is 150 mg of oil in the soft gel capsule. I get it straight from the same mussel farm in New Zealand and do not process it any further. This helps maintain the nutrients. Third party processes that use GLM and put it into capsules lose the potency of the ingredient. We maintain its original form. This is packaged specifically for us.

We used this after we did the three weeks of powder just to see how it worked for her. She did well with this also. She will always have a limp, because of where the pins are located, but now she is doing stairs and putting pressure on it.

I use REAL nutrition from REAL foods. How does that make us different? Real nutrition can’t be read by standard lab testing. Labs look for the synthetic ingredients to tell you it’s healthy. Recommendation….. if dog is suffering with bad arthritis, I would use the capsule. Being this is a food, the body will eliminate what it does not need. They can be put into food and it will not smell like medicine so they should have no problem eating it. It is a food from the ocean. It will smell like fish to them. You decide what works best, but we truly are seeing great results with Morgan. Capsules and powder are switched up, but are in Morgan’s food regularly.

I should add, Morgan is no longer on any pain meds, from vet or natural and walking with a slight limp from the pins while her muscles and tendons are adjusting to the switch in position. She’s doing great!
