These are herbs that are fantastic for helping with aching muscles and joints. Also helps with detoxing the body. I, myself, drink this often – especially after my accident back in 2017. It helped keep me from having my leg in a cast and months of physical therapy (upon my insistence). I was back and driving in three weeks.
You can make this as a tea and let cool, then mix in with their food. You can also add the herbs right into their food.
OAT STRAW: It is rich in calcium and magnesium. It can be used for both physical and nervous fatigue and is helpful for depression. Oatstraw also contains B-complex vitamins, silicia, calcium, flavones, saponins, and Vitamin A. It has been found to be an excellent toner for the whole system. Oat Straw is useful for thyroid and estrogen deficiency, for MS, osteoporosis, appetite loss, anorexia, urinary concerns, colds and chills, to encourage sweating, boils, weak bones, bursitis, constipation, gallbladder, kidney problems, liver disorders, pancreatic concerns, rheumatism, and some skin conditions. This herb increases internal heat, dispels internal chill and strengthens metabolism and circulation, relieves symptoms of depression, prevents and relieves spasms, softens and soothes damaged or inflamed surfaces such as the gastric mucous membranes, strengthens functional activity of the nervous system, helps with the process of assimilating food and has the property of nourishing, and restores, nourishes, and supports the entire body; it exerts a gently strengthening effect on the body. Oatstraw is not a quick fix herb, it is an herb that can be quite effective if used on a regular basis over time. It is slow to act in the system but has a long lasting effect.
NETTLE: It contains protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, beta-carotene, along with vitamins A,C, D, and B complex, all in a form that is easy for the body to use. It is an almost ideal herb for those with all types of arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout. The anti-inflammatory substances combined with the rich concentration of the minerals boron, calcium and silicon ease the pain while helping to build strong bones. While non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID) is necessary evil for most with arthritis, using nettle may help you to decrease the amount you need to take. In a scientific study of patients with acute arthritis, stewed stinging nettle leaves enhanced the anti-inflammatory effects of common arthritis medications. One reason may be that nettles contain large amounts of magnesium which helps to moderate pain response. Nettle is a superb nourisher of the kidneys and adrenals.
RED CLOVER: Is a source of many valuable nutrients including calcium, chromium, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, potassium, thiamine, and vitamin C. Studies suggest that a proprietary extract of red clover isoflavones may slow bone loss and even boost bone mineral density. It is believed that red clover may help to prevent heart disease in several ways: May help the arteries remain strong and flexible (a quality often called ‘arterial compliance’), which may also help to prevent some of the plaque deposits that may lead to a heart attack or a stroke. Red Clover may lower the levels of ‘bad’ low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) and raise the levels of ‘good’ high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in the body and may increase the secretion of bile acid.
COMFREY: Contains substances that help skin and bone regenerate, including allantoin, rosmarinic acid, and tannins. Comfrey’s leaves or roots can be applied as a poultice, wash or ointment and are used for bruising, sciatica, boils, rheumatism, neuralgia, varicose veins, bed sores, wounds, ulcers, insect bites, tumours, muscular pain, pulled tendons, gangrene, shingles and dermatological conditions. It can be added to bath water to promote a youthful skin. Its emollient effects are very soothing, inhibiting further damage to tissues, stimulating the production of cartilage, tendons and muscles. It is highly regarded as a blood, bone, and flesh builder.
LINDEN: Is another cure for treating osteoporosis and other bone ailments. Today, many of the products used for treating bone weakness are added with linden flower as a key ingredient. There are several advantages by including linden flower in daily diet. Some among the best health advantages by including linden flower in daily diet are improving joint flexibility, boosting blood circulation and enhancing joint strength.

I use REAL nutrition from REAL foods. How does that make us different? Real nutrition can’t be read by standard lab testing. Labs look for the synthetic ingredients to tell you it’s healthy. Real food nutrition is complex and one nutrient does not stand above the rest. So what looks like it is not healthy, is probably healthier than labeled. I take great pride in searching out the proper ingredients for each of our products. Your pets will probably be even happier!
